1. Definitions
- Site — the autoland.md web resource, its pages, services and programming interface.
- Listing — information about a vehicle for sale posted by a User, including text, photos and specifications.
- Account — a User's account, created when signing in with a phone number, e-mail or Google.
- Dealer — a company or sole trader selling cars in the course of business and connected to the site as a dealer.
- Paid services — listing promotion and other services provided under the public offer.
2. The site's role
2.1. autoland.md is an information platform where Users post listings and find each other. The Operator is not a seller, buyer, intermediary or representative of either party and takes no part in deals between Users.
2.2. The Operator does not verify the legal status of cars or the accuracy of every listing and does not guarantee that a deal will take place. Users check the car, the documents and the other party themselves.
2.3. Payment for cars is made directly between Users. The Operator never accepts payment for cars and never sends links for such payments.
3. Account
3.1. An account is needed to post listings, send messages, write reviews and receive alerts. Signing in uses a one-time code sent by SMS or e-mail, or Google; there is no password.
3.2. Users are responsible for keeping access to their phone, e-mail and Google account secure and for everything done in their account. Never share confirmation codes.
3.3. Users must give accurate information. Nobody may create accounts to get around blocks and limits.
3.4. Users can delete their account in their account settings. Its personal data is then anonymised and its listings unpublished; some data may be kept for the periods stated in the privacy policy.
4. Posting listings
4.1. Users post listings in line with the posting rules and the laws of the Republic of Moldova.
4.2. The User warrants that they are entitled to sell the car, that the listing is accurate, and that the photos and texts are theirs or used lawfully.
4.3. By posting a listing the User grants the Operator a free, non-exclusive licence to use its materials (texts, photos) to show them on the site, in mobile versions, in mailings and in advertising of the site, for the listing's term and a reasonable period afterwards. The Operator may resize photos and add service marks.
4.4. The Operator may review listings before and after publication, and reject, unpublish or delete listings that break the rules, without disclosing the details of its moderation methods.
4.5. The listing term, renewal and free raising are set by the Operator and shown on the site.
5. Messages, reviews and reports
5.1. Users can exchange messages on the site, write reviews of car models, and report listings and messages.
5.2. Messages must not be used for spam, advertising, insults, fraud or collecting other people's data. Messages may be checked automatically for prohibited words and signs of fraud.
5.3. A review must describe the author's own experience of owning the car. The Operator may moderate reviews and reject them, stating the reason.
6. Prohibited conduct
Users must not:
- break the law, the rights of others or these rules;
- post false, misleading or someone else's information;
- collect other users' data, including by automated means (scraping, scripts, bots), without the Operator's written permission;
- overload the site or try to get around its security, limits or moderation;
- use the site for fraud, money laundering or selling prohibited goods.
7. Paid services
7.1. Listing promotion and other paid services are provided under the public offer at the prices shown on the site when ordering.
7.2. Payment is made online by bank card through a payment provider. The Operator does not receive or store full card details.
8. Intellectual property
The design, code, logo, section names, compilations and texts of the site (except Users' materials) belong to the Operator or are used by it lawfully. Copying or using them without written consent is prohibited.
9. Liability
9.1. The site is provided "as is". The Operator strives to keep it running but does not guarantee it will be free of errors and interruptions.
9.2. The Operator is not liable for the content of Users' listings and messages, for the quality, condition or legal status of cars, for Users' actions or losses from deals between them, or for third-party sites linked from the site.
9.3. Users are liable for the materials they post and shall compensate the Operator for losses caused by their breach of these terms or of third-party rights.
11. Changes
The Operator may change these terms. A new version takes effect when published on the site unless it says otherwise. Continuing to use the site means accepting the new version.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Moldova. Disputes are settled by negotiation, failing which by the competent court of the Republic of Moldova. Nothing in these terms limits consumers' statutory rights.
